In recent years, sustainable design has become the biggest trend in retail environments as brands shed the consumerism society label – re-positioning themselves as energy-efficient and sustainable lifestyle icons.
To achieve this accolade and stay relevant, brands must incorporate ethically sourced materials into the store interiors to create environments which promote health and wellbeing – and leave a positive environmental legacy as much as possible.
Irrespective of this trend, this is intrinsic to us. We endeavour to exceed all relevant regulatory requirements; improve environmental performance, reduce environmental impacts; incorporate environmental factors into business decisions and increase employee, partner and customer awareness and training.
Our Culture is to involve staff in the implementation of our environmental policy and for greater commitment and improved performance; work with suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors to improve their environmental performance; where possible (and balanced with cost, suitability and efficiency) we will use local labour and materials to reduce CO2 and help the community!
It’s very easy to ‘talk-the-talk’. To ‘walk-the-walk’ is much harder. For more information on how we are growing a sustainable approach in-house and for the brands we work with, please email [email protected]
