Today is Wear BLUE Day – and it encourages us to take a moment to reflect on our our health choices and become more aware of health risks. By wearing blue, you are supporting the men in your world to lead a healthier lifestyle and that you care about their well-being.
Evidence supports that men are more likely to skip health checkups than women and at the same time, men are more likely to take chances with their health choices.
The Wear BLUE Campaign provides an opportunity for employers, communities, and other organisations to hold events to raise awareness about concerns surrounding men’s health and how they can take charge. The day is also a way for loved ones to show their encouragement for the men in their lives.
